Twenty-twenty-two is now a part of history. For me, it was a weird sort of year. I have started to list my highlights and a few low ones below. Perhaps I should have started writing this journal entry a few days ago, as I can’t think of anything to add at the moment, and no, it is not because of drinking in the new year. I will add to this over the next few weeks.
Highlights:
- My family are all still here.
- My granddaughters are growing up fast and with beautiful characters.
- I turned 60.
- I went to the Etihad for the first time to watch Manchester City.
- Went to Fishers Farm Park for the girl’s birthday. A great day out!
- Evie and Maisie had a joint birthday party.
- Went to see the Christmas Lights at Marwell Zoo. The girls loved it!
- Went to Fishers Farm Park to see Santa with the girls. Another great day out!

- I got COVID twice.
- I had a cataract operation on my right eye.
- I found out I have a cataract in my left eye.
- I found out I have diabetic maculopathy in both eyes.
- I had three ECGs, a three-day ECG, an Echocardiogram and a Coronary Angiogram
- I discovered I have Diffuse Coronary Artery Disease.
